Vegan Restaurants in Wroclaw

Freshly made pierogi on a plate with herbs — Wroclaw's vegan pierogi scene is thriving

I'm not vegan, but I've spent enough time in Copenhagen to know that the best plant-based food doesn't announce itself — it just happens to not have meat. In Copenhagen, every restaurant had a compelling vegan option by 2019. In Wroclaw in 2022, I had to search. By 2025, the gap was closing fast.

Wroclaw is quietly one of Poland's best cities for vegan food. Home to the country's first vegan restaurant (opened in 1987), the city has a deep plant-based tradition that now includes everything from budget-friendly lunch spots to fine dining with thoughtful vegan menus. These are my picks — the places that treat plant-based cooking as a conviction, not a checkbox.

100% Vegan Restaurants

Bez Lukru

100% Vegan Near Old Town $

All vegan, with many gluten-free options too. Bez Lukru changes its menu daily and offers lunch specials for just 27 PLN — possibly the best-value vegan meal in the city. The cakes are exceptional (yes, vegan cakes can be exceptional). Try the buckwheat pancakes or the black lentil burger. Close to the Old Town on Igielna street.

Address: Igielna 14, Wrocław
Price: 27-40 PLN per person
Best for: Daily-changing menu, gluten-free options, great cakes

PieRogi Vegan

100% Vegan Market Hall $

A perfect 5.0/5 on TripAdvisor, and it's earned. PieRogi Vegan takes Poland's most iconic dish and makes it entirely plant-based with creative fillings you won't find anywhere else: champignon and dried tomatoes, seitan and sauerkraut, sweet potato and curry. Located in the market hall on Swobodna street. If someone tells you vegan pierogi can't be as good as the original, send them here.

Address: Swobodna 37 (market hall), Wrocław
Price: 20-35 PLN per person
Best for: The best vegan pierogi in Poland, no question

Warzywniak

100% Vegan Krzyki $$

Bohemian atmosphere, Asian-influenced vegan food, and one of those places that makes you forget you're eating plant-based because the flavors are so good on their own terms. The Mango Pad Thai is a regular favorite, and the seitan dishes are some of the best-prepared in the city. A bit outside the tourist center in Krzyki, but worth the walk.

Address: Kościuszki 76B, Wrocław
Price: 35-55 PLN per person
Best for: Asian-inspired vegan, bohemian vibes

Fine Dining with Vegan Options

Not every great vegan meal comes from a vegan restaurant. These are the best non-vegan restaurants in Wroclaw where vegans eat exceptionally well. Warsaw gets the attention, but Wroclaw's vegan scene has more personality — smaller venues, more conviction, less marketing.

Pijalni Wino & Bistro also offers thoughtful vegan options alongside their wine program — no advance notice needed.

BABA

Vegan on Request Bib Gourmand 2025 $$$

Chef Beata Śniechowska's intimate 26-seat Bib Gourmand winner accommodates vegan diners with advance notice. The kitchen's "Tribute to Polish Homes" philosophy means even the vegan menu feels rooted in Polish tradition rather than an afterthought. Mention dietary requirements when booking.

Vegan: Available with advance notice when booking
Address: ul. Nożownicza 1D, Wrocław
Price: 200+ PLN per person
